Stretching limits

Stretching limits has great difficulty
The mind is like porous elastic, don’t you see?
To compose with love of words
To wield the tongue as a fierce swung sword
I find it best to sit and read
To learn how masters might take the lead
But alas! Sitting quietly is it’s own great charge
The distractions of life are, after all, many and large.
Some will come to completion quite easily
But deeper thoughts often struggle just to be
Truly I say, ’tis worth the trial
Succeed, and you shall outrace your peers by miles!
